Bon l'episode s'annonçait super bien.
(SAM sits at the conference table writing in the file. Behind her, MARTIN
stands at the counter. She turns and looks at him to find him looking at her.)
(MARTIN picks up the pieces of paper in his hand and walks around the conference
table headed probably over to his desk, his eyes still on her.)
(SAMANTHA watches him knowing what's on his mind.)
SAMANTHA: If you have something to ask me, Martin, go ahead.
(He hesitates for a moment, sighs, then walks over to the conference table and
takes a seat.)
MARTIN: Uh ... am I, uh ... am I the only one who didn't know?
SAMANTHA: Vivian knows. I'm not sure about Danny. We tried to be discreet.
MARTIN: Oh. Well, that's good.
SAMANTHA: It was over two years ago, Martin. It was before you got here.
MARTIN: Yeah. Well, I guess old feelings die hard.
SAMANTHA: They don't die. They just fade, and then you feel bad that they
faded ... because you wonder ... you wonder what they meant when you had them.
MARTIN: Well, I guess if they didn't fade, there ... there wouldn't be room for
new ones.
(He looks at her; she raises her head and looks at him. He gives her a small,
hesitant smile. Her lips twitch in a small smile.)
SAMANTHA: No, I guess there wouldn't.
